Our journey
Sunday takes us across the mountains of West Virginia and through Kentucky. The
beautiful Appalachian Mountains and curvy roads caused Renae to almost DIE of
car sickness. Lyn thought we had plenty of gas to make it across the mountains
into Elkins, WV. We got a bit nervous when the gas light came on and we were
still on a two lane road in the middle of the mountains. We coasted into Elkins
with the gas gauge well below the red line. We put in 28.7 gallons of gas
thinking we had a 28 gallon tank.... Note to remember: pulling a camper sucks more
gas than anticipated.
